Historic Hartman House Inn

13025 Pine Street

831-431-4399

There are few places more rounded then this beautiful inn.  Chickens.  Gardens.  A scented night garden.  Mini-donkeys and pigs?!?  We love that this place is just a few minute walk from downtown but it’s so peaceful, you might not leave the property.  Inspirational for anyone who loves gardens and happy farm animals.

Merrybrook Lodge

The cabins along the river are the things that relaxing vacations are made of.  From the warm wood paneled walls, to the idyllic setting amongst the trees, you can't help but feel relaxed.  Some of these cabins even have fireplaces and kitchens.  We love that this spot is close to the BC Golf Course and Big Basin State park- making it a convenient location to do it all.

Perhaps the most famous residents of Boulder Creek are not people, but rather, are the redwood trees that predate the roman empire.  While some like to visit for the day to enjoy the many hiking trails, many choose to stay longer and camp under the amazing green redwood canopy.  This area is also famous for the wildlife including many kinds of birds.  Bring your favorite book and a good set of binoculars.

You don't have to be a member of the Village People in order to be signing the praises of YMCA- you just need to visit their Boulder Creek Camp.  This is an option for groups who need multiple rooms or who might want event space.  Their property has a gorgeous swimming pool, archery course, a rock climbing wall, disc golf and a ropes course.  They offer a variety of kids camps too.  Parents can drop the kids off for an activity filled over-night camp, and stay close at a local inn and explore Boulder Creek and the surrounding area.
