Boulder Creek Pizza & Pub

831-338-2141
Nothing better then a cold beer with a perfectly prepared pizza. This place has the classics but also offers a updated menu filled with unique and tasty creations (Buffalo Bleu Cheese pie will knock your socks off). The dining room is huge and perfect for groups- and they offer something for everyone, even gluten free and vegan pizzas. Located in the repurposed Burl Theater, downtown Boulder Creek's old movie theater. Even if you're not hungry, it's worth a stop to grab a pint of local beer while you check out the historic pictures of Boulder Creek. Did we mention that they have free wifi?

JOE'S BAR
Joe's Bar
13118 Highway 9
831-338-9417
Joe's Bar motto (and perhaps this town's) is "If you haven't been to Joe's, you haven't been to Boulder Creek". And it's got a point. This local watering hole has been a hotspot for over a hundred years, and was a favorite of the loggers in the early 1900's. Today they offer local beers, wine, and a wide-options of stiffer sprits. Live music and locals are often on tap.
SCOPAZZI'S
Scopazzi's
13300 Highway 236
831-338-6441
Built in the early 1900's, Scopazzi's was built as a hotel for the loggers who worked in the surrounding area. It has been rumored to been also used as a brothel, as well as an illegal bar during the prohibition era. You can still enjoy a beautifully crafted cocktail in their historic bar, or a full meal in their elegant dining room. Famous for their table-side prepared cherries jubilee.

REDWOOD KEG LIQUORS & DELI
12980 Hwy 9
831-338-2727
You'll be greeted first by the smell of their famous tri-tip grilling on their bbq, then with a smile. This place has a vast selection of spirits and beer, but also had a full deli. They even sell their own brand of BBQ marinades. Plus, the owner Bob's family runs back generations as Boulder Creek locals. He's always good for a story or two.
THE RED PEARL
13151 Highway 9
831-338-9800
Ever walk into what appears to be an old western storefront only to find the heavily smells of freshly prepared egg rolls and other amazing chinese food? Yea, it may seem a little confusing, but my point is that the food rocks and it's right in the historic downtown. Apricot Almond Chicken is a dish dreams are made of.

BIG BASIN STORE AND CAFE
21600 Big Basin Way
Like a mirage in the desert, this place has great snacks and staples to fuel even the hungriest hiker. There are very few stores or restaurants near Big Basin Park, but this place makes sure to keep basic needs covered- but also satisfying the random panini and organic salad craving. It's a good spot to pick up bottled water or sunscreen.
